Cancellations of any size are granted solely at our discretion and are handled on a case-by-case basis. No refunds will be made for Cancellations within four weeks of the Hatch Date.
Ordering live baby poultry is not like ordering a pair of shoes. We cant just put them back on the shelf and hope that someone else buys them.
Baby poultry is more like ordering an ice-cream cone. Once we begin the process of fulfilling your order (incubating), we can't stop the process without destroying the final product. After the product is made, it spoils very quickly.
Please remember that you are ordering live animals. They must be humanly cared for. We have limited brooding space. If you cancel your order, and we cannot immediately place the birds with another customer, they will probably be disposed of and you will be responsible for the cost.
If you have multiple orders over a season with a volume discount applied, cancelling an order will put you at risk for:
- Being charged back for the volume discount.
- Cancellation of future orders.
For Large Value* Orders: If for any reason you need to cancel your order, we require:
- At least six (6) weeks notice.
- A 20% restocking fee.
*A Large Value Order is defined as the following:
250 or more per season or 100 or more per hatch date.
